I have a little time this morning to unwind.

There are 2 or 3 works in process. One is finished, a found object collage. However I am not really pleased with it but will photograph and post photos this weekend.

We got a new scanner last night so I am able to start scanning some old family photos for painting ideas!!! I’m so excited!

I’m back!

We spent our holiday traveling mostly. Driving to southern Illinois to see my baby. Then driving to northern Illinois to visit his babies…then back home again. Finally today I feel as though I am rested up and back to normal (what the hell ever THAT is…haha).

We spent the weekend organizing and cleaning the basement. My work area needed an overhaul.
Still eating very healthy and doing yoga. Although while we were gone I wasn’t able to keep up on those very important tasks. I’m at it full tilt now. And with a vengeance it seems!

One of my clients will be involved in an “EXTREME MAKEOVER” show. Which is exciting for him and me. The show will be taped right here in Cherokee county Georgia!!! He said he can’t say where just yet but that the “knock on the door” will happen on January 11, 2007. I will keep you posted.

I’ve been reading lots…and by lots I mean lots of different books at once. Mostly about herbs, gardens and herbal medicines. I seem to be obsessed with the effect herbs and natural foods have on your health. So more on that later…

Today I have off work and have some errands to do and chores to catch up on.
