You scored as Buddhism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Buddhism. Do more research on Buddhism and possibly consider becoming Buddhist, if you are not already.
In Buddhism, there are Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering. (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of reality and the craving, attachment, and grasping that result from such ignorance. (3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right contemplation. These eight are usually divided into three categories that base the Buddhist faith: morality, wisdom, and samadhi, or concentration. In Buddhism, there is no hierarchy, nor caste system; the Buddha taught that one’s spiritual worth is not based on birth.

One of my favorite sites to visit is Path to Freedom. Their way of life is the dream I aspire to. Here is part of their posting today:
After reading some months ago about the waste made from all the plastic bags we are given at stores I made my own shopping tote.

I was reading Vegan Mama’s blog and she posted this article which I found very important:
“By far, the most common killer in this country, heart disease, as with other circulatory problems, is clearly understood to be caused by buildups on the walls of the arteries. These deposits consist of saturated animal fats and cholesterol. Plant foods, of course, are generally low in fat and contain no cholesterol. So it shouldn’t surprise us to see that the world health literature shows that heart disease is virtually unknown in populations with a plant-centered diet. But interestingly, we can see a marked increase in heart disease and other forms of degenerative illness when members of other cultures adopt the American way of eating.
“the vast majority, perhaps 80%-90%, of all cancers, cardiovascular and other forms of degenerative illness can be prevented, at least to a very old age, simply by adopting a plant-based diet.”
…A very famous vegetarian by the name of Albert Einstein said something that might help us put these issues into proper perspective: “Nothing will benefit human health or increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.”

We loafed around the house most of the weekend.
Saturday we did go to see the Bodies exhibition in Atlanta. Being the last weekend of the exhibit and on a holiday weekend it was very crowded. It was quite interesting and not at all what I had expected. It was laid out like a museum with body parts labeled and workings of the body explained. I thought it might be somewhat gruesome looking but it wasn’t at all. A few times though while looking at a body I would remember that this was once a living human being…and that was kind of freaky.
September is a month of finally cooler weather. Being able to have the windows open at least at night is so relaxing…finally we can listen to the crickets, frogs and birds. Yeah…traffic too…but there is nothing like fresh air breezing through the house after months of being cooped up.
Bring on the Fall season!!!
